Alun P. Thomas LL.B. (Wales)

Alun was born and brought up in Aberystwyth and obtained his law degree at the University College of Wales Aberystwyth. He undertook his articles with Messrs. Gordon Williams in Cardiff and practised in Cardiff before returning to Aberystwyth in 1974.

From 1974 until 1985 Alun was an assistant solicitor with the long-established firm of Messrs. W.A. Bowen & Griffiths. He began his own practice in November 1985 and was joined by Richard John in 1987.

Throughout his legal career Alun has undertaken both contentious and non-contentious work, advising in Welsh and in English. He now specialises in domestic/commercial conveyancing and represents both individuals and local organizations. In addition, Alun specialises in wills, probate and trust work.

Alun is a Welsh speaker and for over 30 years sat as a part-time Deputy District Judge in the County Court and part-time Tribunal Judge.

He is a keen golfer, enjoys music and reading and spending time with his four grandchildren.
