Helen F. Clow

Helen was brought up in Lincolnshire. She graduated from the University of East Anglia and subsequently obtained a post graduate diploma in Hull. On moving to Aberystwyth she joined Morris Bates & Godwin in 1985 and carried out her legal executive training whilst with that firm.

In 1995 she assisted Harold Godwin in establishing the firm of Godwins where she undertook family law, civil litigation, personal injury and probate work.

Helen joined Alun Thomas & John in 2001 where she specialises in family law. She is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives having qualified in 1992 and is a member of Resolution and of the Law Society’s Family Law Panel.

As a member of Resolution Helen is committed to a non-confrontational approach in dealing with family matters. She deals with all aspects of divorce, private law children cases, financial matters following divorce and separation and cohabitee disputes and regularly represents clients in the County Court and Family Proceedings Court.

Helen is a keen musician and she enjoys playing in local wind bands and orchestras. She is a longstanding member of Philomusica in Aberystwyth.
